We designed a survey to find out about cyberbullying in our school. Each second year student completed the survey. Here are the results:
- 63% of girls and 81% of boys said they had experienced cyberbullying online.
- 30% of girls and 45% of boys said they had posted rude or hurtful comments about someone else online.
- 65% of girls and 30% of boys said they had used someone else's password without their permission.
- 37% of girls and 65% of boys admitted to using bad language online.
- 60% of girls and 48% of boys said they had embarrassed someone else online.
- 18% of girls and 48% of boys admitted to teasing or threatening someone else online.
- 89% of girls and 74% of boys admitted to impersonating someone else online.
- 76% of girls and 30% of boys think that the use of social networks negatively affects teenagers' behaviour.
